Job summary

Beauport Hospitality Group in Gloucester, MA is seeking an entry-level restaurant server. This is a part-time position requiring weekend and holiday availability. The base wage is $11 per hour plus tips, with total compensation typically ranging from $16 to $19 per hour.

You will set up and clear tables, assist servers, maintain stations, serve guests, and participate in daily staff meetings. Prior food & beverage experience is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• Stand for 8 hours.
• Walk/stand for about 90% of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Requires working knowledge of Food & Beverage service.
• Familiarity with standard POS systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; second language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, stock service stations, and assist servers to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clear dirty table settings quickly and reset tables for new guests.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of service areas and stations.
• Serve guests with water and assist with dining flow; replenish as needed.
• Complete side work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards in dining and storage areas.
• Assist team members to promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
