Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group is hiring a server for our upscale venues in Boston. A typical day includes greeting guests, taking orders, ensuring accuracy, and delivering prompt service in a high-energy setting.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years in direct serving and at least 4 years in hospitality. Night and weekend availability is required; alcohol certification is a plus, with compliance to all company guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years direct serving experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant.
• Minimum 4 years of hospitality experience.
• Previous experience with Asian or Asian-fusion cuisine preferred.
• TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming demeanor and take food and/or beverage orders.
• Ensure orders are accurate and served in a timely manner.
• Attend to guests and anticipate needs.
• Prepare guest checks and collect accurate payment.
• Resolve service issues with empathy and according to guidelines.
• Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and intervene when needed.
• Promote Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and well stocked work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
