Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead an upscale café within a corporate campus. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily operations, guest experience, and team performance to deliver a polished service standard.

The GM will drive P&L, labor, inventory, and standards while nurturing strong relationships with the corporate client and tenants. Typical schedule is weekday daytime with occasional events or catering support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hospitality experience, including 2–3+ years in GM or senior leadership.
• Experience in polished, upscale, service-driven environments.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Proven P&L, labor, inventory, and cost-control experience.
• Strong team leadership, coaching, and accountability.
• Openings experience is a plus; café/coffee background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day café operations across food, beverage, service, and catering.
• Maintain a polished guest experience with high quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Build relationships with corporate client, property management, tenants, and building leadership.
• Own café-level P&L, labor, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop hourly team members and shift leaders.
• Oversee catering orders, meeting drops, and tenant events; ensure execution of standards.
• Partner with senior operations leadership on business needs, staffing, and execution.
