Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its leadership team in Charlotte, NC. This growing restaurant group emphasizes hospitality, strong systems, and operational excellence.

You will lead shifts, coach hourly team members, and ensure floor execution in a high-volume setting. You should have hands-on leadership, experience in upscale casual or full-service concepts, and a track record of improving guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Recent upscale casual, polished casual, or comparable full-service restaurant experience.
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Scratch-kitchen experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of labor management, food cost, inventory, and restaurant financials.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate hourly teams.
• Comfortable working within a structured, systems-oriented operation.
• Strong floor presence and a hands-on leadership style.
• Genuine commitment to hospitality and the guest experience.
• Ability to complete 6-8 weeks of out-of-market training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support day-to-day restaurant operations in a high-volume environment
• Maintain strong standards for hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and overall execution
• Coach, train, and develop hourly team members
• Provide consistent floor leadership and respond quickly to operational needs
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between front- and back-of-house teams
• Monitor labor, sales, and other key operating metrics during assigned shifts
• Support scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost-control processes
• Identify and resolve guest concerns while maintaining a high standard of hospitality
• Execute company systems, procedures, and operating standards consistently
• Help create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support training and development initiatives across the restaurant
