Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service to members and guests. You will prepare and serve drinks to standardized recipes, maintain a clean bar, and provide knowledgeable wine pairings and recommendations.

You will greet guests, upsell, process payments through a POS system, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. This role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and a TIPS certification or the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• TIPS certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Experience with wine, food pairings, and beverage preparation.
• Ability to learn and operate a POS system.
• Strong guest service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service standards.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area.
• Greet members and guests promptly and professionally.
• Provide beverage recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Learn wine offerings, pairings, and opening procedures.
• Process guest checks using the POS system.
• Attend training and safety programs; support inventory and cost controls.
• Stock glassware and assist with liquor inventory as needed.
