Job summary

Serve Safe certification and clear English communication are required. You will work on broiler, pantry, and sauté stations, prepare diverse menu items, ensure sanitary practices, and maintain a clean, safe work area for the entire shift.

• Strong food preparation and kitchen operation knowledge.
• Serve Safe certification is required.
• Understanding of sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with broiler, pantry, and sauté stations, purchasing and receiving.
• Consult with Sous Chef on menu requirements and supplies.
• Prepare and cook food, including à la carte items, per specifications and sanitation standards.
• Portion food and relay to servers on order.
• Prepare cold side items per menus and specials.
• Make daily preparations of menu items with high quality and presentation.
• Assist in other food preparation for events as needed.
• Keep kitchen clean including walk-ins and dry storage.
• Operate equipment safely and sanitarily.
• Report shortages to Sous Chef or supervisor.
• Assist in receiving and storage of food.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Cooks hot side items for banquets and help others as needed.
• Breakdown station at end of shift; turn off equipment and lock storage.
