Job summary

Gutor Electronic Americas, LLC is seeking an entry- to mid-level Test Bay Technician to perform functional, load, and routine tests on UPS systems and related equipment. You will review instructions, operate test gear, document results, and assist with troubleshooting under guidance from engineers and senior technicians.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent training in electrical technology, 1–3 years of related experience, and solid knowledge of electrical theory and safety

Qualifications

• Associated degree or equivalent technical training in electrical/electronics.
• 1–3 years in electrical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, manufacturing, or related settings.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and test procedures.
• Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office for recording/reporting data.
• Ability to work independently while following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, load, and routine tests on UPS systems and related equipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Review test instructions and work orders for testing requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and elevate complex problems to Engineers or Senior Technicians.
• Set up and operate test equipment for assigned tests.
• Record and document test results, observations, and non-conformances accurately.
• Support rework verification and retesting activities when required.
• Maintain clean, organized test area and proper storage of equipment.
• Follow Test Bay work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions as needed.
