Job summary

Vertiv in Delaware, OH is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to support engineering test activities for the single phase UPS line. You will organize equipment, set up and run tests, and report findings to aid new product development and sustaining efforts.

Responsibilities include setting up tests on request, assisting with prototype assembly, maintaining a safe, clean lab, and performing teardown/PCB-level analysis with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3–5 years test engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 2–3 years test engineering experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and identification of components.
• Strong engineering troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve problems quickly and methodically.
• Ability to operate in an electrical testing lab environment safely.
• Very strong planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional global development teams.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and performs tests requested by product engineers.
• Assist with assembly of prototype units
• Organizes and maintains a safe, clean, productive lab space.
• Performs product tear downs and technical analysis down to the PCB level.
• Reports findings in an organized manner.
