Job summary

Vertiv Holdings is seeking an Engineer – UPS Testing in Montgomery, AL to lead final UPS production testing and ensure conformance to FAT and QAP standards. You will plan test bay allocation, coordinate inspections, and analyze UPS failure data for continuous improvement.

The candidate should have a BE in Electronics/Electricals with 3+ years experience and at least 2 years in the same industry, demonstrating strong fault-finding, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of working experience in the same industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for final UPS testing (production) activity.
  • Plan test bay allocation according to requirements.
  • Handle customers inspection and understand their product requirements.
  • Conduct FAT as per QAP/customer requirements and answer customer queries.
  • Monitor and analyse UPS failure data during testing and initiate action with Production/IPQA/IQA.
  • Maintain test bay and load bank equipment.
  • Maintain test equipment and calibration on a regular basis.
  • Assist DVT/Engineering/application teams with new product/component testing.
  • Provide product/technical training to newly joined engineers.

Qualifications

Minimum Academic Qualification: BE in Electronics / Electricals with more than 3 years of experience.


Minimum Working Experience: 2 years, including 2 years in the same industry.


Required Skills


  • Good knowledge of power electronics.

  • Knowledge of SLD/schematics diagrams.

  • Knowledge of basic electronic devices, circuits, and electrical system.

  • Fault‑finding ability during UPS testing.

  • Analytical skill, good communication skill, leadership quality.
