Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking an Uninterruptible Power Supply Field Service Technician to test, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install UPS systems and related components. The role requires offshore travel by boat or helicopter and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include testing UPS systems, troubleshooting alarms, performing capacitor replacements, terminating and replacing units from 5 to 200 KVA, and installing maintenance bypass switches while safely handling 48–480 VDC and

Qualifications

• Experience testing and servicing UPS systems.
• Experience replacing capacitors and other UPS components.
• Experience troubleshooting UPS alarms and electrical issues.
• Experience terminating and replacing UPS systems ranging from 5 to 200 KVA.
• Experience installing maintenance bypass switches.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to travel offshore.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical codes is preferred.
