Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician II – UPS, CA to support mission-critical UPS systems and related power quality equipment across the assigned territory in California.

The role emphasizes startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and emergency technical support in customer sites. Qualified candidates have an Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or equivalent) and about 4 years of hands-on UPS/electrical experience, with

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field with equivalent experience.
• Approximately 4 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical/electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing UPS systems or power quality equipment.
• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems and power quality equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot to circuit board level using schematics and test equipment.
• Provide emergency technical support and field service coverage on rotation.
• Maintain service records and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards in all activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and operations teams.
