Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) seeks a Field Service Technician II to support mission-critical data centers.

The role requires 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing UPS systems and related electrical equipment, with strong customer-facing skills and a willingness to travel regionally. You will perform startup, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults to component level, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing UPS systems, power quality equipment, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience supporting data centers or other mission-critical facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing, and field modifications on UPS systems and related power protection equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment to the circuit board level.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform inspections, and determine corrective actions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency technical support.
