Job summary

Nationwide Power is seeking a UPS Field Engineer to service critical power equipment in the Baltimore/DC area. The role involves preventive maintenance, emergency response, troubleshooting, and customer communication to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering technology or related field.
  • Willingness to learn technical skills through training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Independently schedule and conduct preventative maintenance services.
  • Respond to emergency calls 24/7 when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot critical power systems to identify root causes and perform repairs.
  • Adhere to job requirements and strive for accuracy in all tasks.
  • Support sales opportunities by recommending critical power equipment.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
  • Handle battery installation, removal, and disposal procedures.
