Job Description

We're seeking a passionate Mathematics educator to join our Upper School faculty at Fort Bend Christian Academy for the 2025-26 academic year. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning environments that foster mathematical thinking and deep conceptual understanding. Courses may include but are not limited to some combination of Algebra II, Precalculus and Calculus; additionally, courses may be On Level, Honors or AP.

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:

  • A demonstrated ability to teach upper-level mathematics
  • Experience creating problem-solving rich classroom environments
  • A passion for making mathematics accessible and engaging for all learners
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience teaching high school math is preferred, and AP teaching experience will be considered a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of professional, timely communication with students and parents
  • A service-oriented mindset focused on supporting student success
