Qualifications

• Experience in school leadership, instructional coaching, or grade-level leadership.
• Commitment to diversity, collegiality, and school mission.
• Solid understanding of children's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Prior experience as a teacher and/or administrator of upper school-age children.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Desire to work collaboratively with a group of talented colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the school's mission, inclusive practices, and social justice in the Upper School.
• Support the Upper School Director as instructional leader and day-to-day life.
• Articulate curriculum, programs, expectations, and behavioral guidelines.
• Serve on the Upper School Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with parents to develop effective relationships.
• Support hiring, PD, and enrollment efforts.
• Maintain a safe Upper School environment.
• Lead regular faculty meetings and cross-division collaboration.
• Encourage respectful interactions and empower faculty.
