Overview

The Assistant Upholstery Technician is self-motivated, responsible, punctual, organized, with excellent time management and communication skills. This position supports the physical repair, replace, or create upholstery for Gym equipment.Upholsterers use a variety of materials, such as Vinyl, leather and padding so the functionality, and aesthetic appeal of their work. This position reports to the Facility Manager.

Full Time or Part Time opportunities (non-exempt) $23-$27/hr

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Repair, replace, or create upholstery for Gym equipment.
• Use variety of materials such as: vinyl, leather, padding, and other materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned, with the ability to perform professionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Duties may include physical effort, to include lifting to a minimum of 50lbs. Bending, squatting, reaching, standing for extended periods of time and use of ladders and extension ladders with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Actively assists the team in the completion of goals and cost saving and accountable for actions and results regarding the maintenance of facility and equipment repairs within assigned region.
• Leaves club with equipment in working condition and communicates appropriately.
