Job summary

Club Fitness is seeking a Facility Technician in St. Peters, MO for a full-time role supporting repairs and maintenance across multiple clubs in the region. The position includes travel up to 25% and a day shift.

Ideal candidates have a 2-year degree (or higher), strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, and 10+ years in building maintenance. A valid driver’s license is required; ESOP and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily reports and computer work for assigned tasks.

Overview

The facility technician is self-motivated, responsible, punctual, organized, and has excellent time management and communication skills. This position supports the physical repairs and maintenance of buildings in a designated geographical area, usually 4-5 locations.

Core Responsibilities

• Travel to pre-determined locations within a geographical region.
• Manage a daily routine of service calls, perform repairs from service calls, perform repairs adhering to all performance protocols, and address emergencies as assigned.
• Duties will include maintenance, research, and troubleshooting of essential electrical components, basic plumbing, drywall patch & paint, and general building maintenance tasks.
• High attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned, with the ability to perform professionally in a fast-paced environment. Complete reports and computer work daily for assigned tasks.
• Duties will include physical effort, to include lifting to a minimum of 50lbs. Bending, squatting, reaching, standing for extended periods, and using ladders and extension ladders with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Actively assists the team in the completion of goals, cost savings, and is accountable for actions and results regarding the maintenance of facility and equipment repairs within assigned region.
• Leaves club with equipment in working condition and communicates appropriately.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Required to maintain a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a clean DMV report.
• Required electronic and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, all tools, equipment, and material used for repairs is required.
• Ability to understand technical documents required.
• Trade school certification preferred.
• 10+ Years of experience in building maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Daily physical activity includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and standing for prolonged periods of time.
