Job summary

Gabriella White is seeking a hands-on Product Development Specialist – Upholstery to advance new and existing upholstery products in our production environment. You will develop and adjust patterns, upholster frames, and support product construction reviews to ensure quality, value, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has extensive upholstery manufacturing experience, pattern-making know-how, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in upholstery manufacturing and product development.
• Strong pattern-making knowledge and ability to adjust patterns.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and pattern documentation.
• Demonstrated focus on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develops, cuts, and makes patterns to support new and existing upholstery product construction.
• Upholsters frames and assists with trim for product development and production readiness.
• Works in AutoCAD and Soft Worx for pattern development and documentation.
• Provides input on SKU construction to improve quality, efficiency, and value.
• Documents notes and product feedback for review by Product Development and Plant Leadership.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to boost production performance and consistency.
• Adjusts patterns to improve efficiency, fit, construction, and production flow.
• Assesses product cost and identifies cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Collaborates with Product Development, Plant Leadership, and production teams to support execution.
