Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a PD Upholsterer to join our product development team in a climate-controlled furniture manufacturing environment. You will upholster new furniture pieces for product development and digitize pieces using SolidWorks.

The role requires reading blueprints, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working weekends/overtime as needed. Strong English, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read English.
• Must read blueprints/specifications of a pattern piece of furniture.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digitizing furniture using SolidWorks.
• Must upholster inside and outside pieces with high quality.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work weekends and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must stand/walk 8 hours daily.
• Must wear PPE as required.
• Fine motor skills with hands/fingers.

Responsibilities

• Upholster inside and outside new furniture pieces for Product Development.
• Ensure the piece is correctly patterned for production.
• Assist in training on new pieces for production.
• Digitize new product pieces in segments or entirety using SolidWorks.
• Other duties as assigned.
