Job summary

Gabriella White, LLC in Claremont, NC is seeking a hands-on Product Development Specialist – Upholstery to develop patterns, upholster frames, and support product construction review. You will partner with Product Development and Plant Leadership to ensure quality, value, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has extensive upholstery manufacturing experience, strong pattern-making skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Ten or more years of furniture upholstery manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of upholstery construction and pattern making.
Ability to work under deadlines and with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to document product notes accurately.
Experience with cost-conscious product development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develops, cuts, and makes patterns to support new and existing upholstery product construction.
Upholsters frames and assists with trim for development and production readiness.
Uses AutoCAD and Soft Worx to support pattern development and product documentation.
Provides input on SKU construction to improve quality, efficiency, and value.
Documents product notes and communicates with Product Development and Plant Leadership.
D drives process improvements to boost production performance and product consistency.
