Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) seeks a Clinician Unlicensed to join the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (A-CCS) team in Western Massachusetts. The role delivers community-based clinical services, completes intakes and assessments, develops action and safety plans, and coordinates referrals to support transitions back to the community.

The candidate must have a Master’s degree in a clinical behavioral health field, strong assessment and discharge-planning skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health field is required.
• Experience with evidence-informed approaches; crisis-stabilization or inpatient experience preferred.
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, safety planning, treatment planning, discharge planning, and referrals.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Excellent observation, critical thinking, clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong group facilitation, education, and both verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organization, workflow management, documentation and teamwork.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, recovery-oriented, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, community-based clinical and consultative services for adults in A-CCS.
• Complete intakes and comprehensive clinical assessments, including risk and mental-status evaluations.
• Develop and document individualized action plans, safety plans, and treatment plans with the team.
• Determine and implement appropriate treatment and referral responses based on assessment.
• Lead treatment and disposition planning during shifts and participate in daily case meetings.
• Develop discharge and aftercare plans and coordinate referrals for continuity of care.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-oriented groups for A-CCS.
• Triages daily clinical workflow and ensures a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• Maintain timely electronic documentation of assessments, treatment, and outcomes.
