Transdev North America is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its University of Tennessee Knoxville University Shuttle contract. You will lead operations, ensure safe and reliable service, oversee staff, manage contract assets, and drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant field is desirable.
• Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related fields is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing fixed route or paratransit bus operations of similar size.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and transit regulations.
• Ability to manage cost control and financial budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management team and workforce to achieve safety, service, and financial goals.
• Set commercial and operational strategic direction for the business unit.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities and optimize return on assets.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure budgetary compliance.
