Job summary

AD Mortgage is seeking a dynamic University Relations Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Troy, MI. You will build partnerships with colleges to attract internships and entry-level talent for our mortgage organization, acting as the campus brand ambassador and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

You will own campus recruiting for internships and full-time roles, plan events, manage relationships with career services, faculty and student groups, and continually improve program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years in recruiting, university relations, or talent acquisition.
• Mortgage or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Campus Engagement: develop and execute campus recruiting strategies for internships and full-time roles.
• Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with career services, faculty and student groups.
• Program Management: manage internship and campus ambassador programs for US interns.
• Event Coordination: plan and attend career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.

• Brand Promotion: represent AD Mortgage culture and values on campus and via social media.
• Data & Reporting: track recruiting metrics and provide insights for program improvement.

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven University Relations Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will build and maintain partnerships with colleges and universities to attract top early-career talent for internships and entry-level positions within our mortgage organization. You will serve as the brand ambassador on campus, ensuring a positive candidate experience and promoting our company as an employer of choice. This role will own recruitment of internship and full-time positions in the collegiate space.

Key Responsibilities

• Campus Engagement: Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies to build a strong pipeline of diverse talent for internships and full-time roles.
• Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with career services, faculty, student organizations, and key university stakeholders.
• Program Management: Manage the internship program and the campus ambassador program for all US interns; including planning, executing and hiring.
• Event Coordination: Plan and attend career fairs, networking events, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.
• Candidate Experience: Guide students through the application and interview process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience.
• Brand Promotion: Represent the company’s culture and values on campus and through social media engagement.
• Data & Reporting: Track recruiting metrics, analyze effectiveness of campus programs, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to align campus recruiting efforts with business needs.

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Troy, MI office.
• Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in recruiting, university relations, or talent acquisition (mortgage or financial services experience preferred).
