Job summary

Sodexo at Marquette University in Milwaukee is seeking a Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods for all meals and events, following Sodexo’s culinary standards for quality, presentation, and safety.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience; weekday morning shifts and a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food-handling procedures and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold foods according to recipes and standards.
• Portion, cook, and present dishes for all meal periods and events.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold food safety practices.
• Support kitchen teamwork and adapt to client requirements.
• Attend shifts on time; perform other duties as needed.
