Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the annual academic catalog production cycle, including developing deadlines and coordinating content submission and review.
• Oversee the development, editing, and production of the university's annual catalog with schools, departments, and offices to ensure accuracy and timely publication.
• Coordinate the Catalog Advisory Committee schedules, agendas, and follow-up communications across academic and administrative units.
• Utilize and administer the Coursedog Curriculum Management and Catalog modules to manage, review, edit, and publish catalog content; train users as needed.
• Ensure curriculum changes are reflected in the catalog after proper approvals and coordinate with academic units to resolve questions.
• Review and maintain course descriptions and other catalog content in my.SMU for consistency across systems.
• Maintain updates to catalog sections managed by offices outside the Registrar's Office and conduct QA to reflect approved university information.
• Evening and weekend work may be required to support academic ceremonies and deadlines.
