Western New Mexico University is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator on campus in Silver City. The role focuses on attracting targeted students by coordinating on-site visits, campus tours, and communications with schools and families.

You will develop recruitment plans, materials, and partnerships to support enrollment objectives across the state. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or 60 credits with related experience, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and Spanish bilingual ability.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 credits with two years of related work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of university policies and confidentiality required.
• Solid demonstrated knowledge of administrative functions and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains relationships with educational contacts to schedule on-site visits with students and parents.
• Participates in statewide and out-of-state recruitment to promote the University’s programs.
• Provides information about the University and arranges campus tours for prospective students and parents.
• Assists in development of recruitment and enrollment activities and department goals.
• Ensures enrollment goals are achieved regarding applications, acceptances, and enrolled students.
• May travel within the territory and work additional hours to meet recruitment targets.
