Job summary

New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology seeks a Recruitment/Admissions professional to represent the university to prospective students and families in Socorro and beyond. You will develop and implement recruiting initiatives, conduct holistic reviews of applications, and manage high school visits, area receptions, and meetings.

The role involves using the Slate CRM for communications, reports to the Director of Admissions, and requires travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Any area of study.
• 0-3 years experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, sales, customer service, marketing, public relations or related area.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel and represent the institution.
• Ability to plan, organize and implement events, programs and projects related to enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, counseling, and territory management.
• Advise and consult with prospective students and families on admission to NMT.
• Support programs, events, and visits.
