Job Summary: The Universal Teller I position is responsible for conducting and processing various types of customer bank transactions while delivering the "IBC Experience". This includes providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, adhering to bank policies and procedures. Tellers also maintain a balanced cash drawer and build customer relationships to identify products and services to meet banking needs.

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

• Process paying and receiving teller transactions
• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to deliver the IBC Experience
• Balance and maintain assigned cash box and vault, perform end-of-day processes
• Promote bank products and services to meet customer financial needs through various channels
• Meet sales performance goals and participate in referral programs
• Engage in product and service initiatives for bank growth
• Attend company meetings
• Process foreign currency transactions
• Follow procedures to minimize errors and reduce losses
• Assist with resolving customer transaction issues
• Answer banking inquiries
• Operate and maintain teller equipment
• Assist with branch procedures, including opening/closing
• Help train staff at your branch and others
• Be flexible to report to work and assist other branches as needed
• Perform sales duties and other assigned tasks
