Job summary

North American Savings Bank seeks a Universal Banker for our Independence branch. You will deliver excellent customer service, promote NASB products, and help customers select accounts and services while meeting branch goals.

You will handle daily operations, assist with referrals to mortgage sales, and support branch marketing efforts. Strong communication and math skills are essential; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of Retail or Sales experience handling customers and making product recommendations.
• Credit and background checks required.
• Ability to work fixed branch hours Mon-Fri and some Saturdays.
• Learn NASB products and procedures quickly and accurately.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet customers entering the bank.
• Assist customers with account selection and service referrals, supporting sales goals.
• Resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Support branch marketing activities and promotions.
• Handle daily operations: opening accounts, cash controls, balancing, and CIP compliance.
• Follow BSA/AML policies and procedures.
