Job summary

NASB Financial, Inc. seeks a Universal Banker in the Lee's Summit branch to deliver exceptional customer service and promote NASB products and solutions. You will greet customers, open accounts, process transactions, and support the mortgage sales team with referrals.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with CIP/BSA, and strong communication skills to adapt discussions to customer needs. A high school diploma is required, with growth opportunities in a full-time, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military equivalent preferred.
• One year's experience in a Retail or Sales environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations leading to sales.
• Credit and background checks will be required.
• Ability to work branch hours Monday - Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle currency denominations.
• Excellent communication and adapt NASB product discussions to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, greet customers, answer calls, and refer to mortgage sales as needed.
• Assist customers in selecting accounts and services, manage accounts, and support retention and sales goals.
• Resolve problems to ensure satisfaction and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
• Support branch marketing activities and daily operations including opening accounts and cash handling.
• Adhere to BSA/AML compliance and complete CIP requirements.
