Job summary

North American Savings Bank (NASB) in Harrisonville seeks a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional customer service, promote NASB’s products, and drive branch sales. You will greet customers, open accounts, and support mortgage referrals, while maintaining compliance and a positive, professional attitude.

The role involves assisting with daily operations, participating in branch marketing activities, and upholding BSA/AML policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a Retail or Sales environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations leading to sales or relevant experience required.
• Credit and background checks will be required.
• Ability to work branch hours Monday - Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
• Ability to learn NASB products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
• Financial management and responsibility skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt NASB product conversations to customer needs in person and over the phone.
• Basic math skills; ability to identify currency denominations.
• Time management and organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough.
• Bilingual desired, but not required.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, greeting each customer and handling interactions with professionalism.
• Assist customers in selecting accounts and financial services and promote branch goals.
• Support mortgage sales by making referrals and cross-selling NASB products.
• Resolve problems or questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to branch marketing activities and promotions.
• Perform daily operations including opening new accounts, cash handling, balancing, and CIP compliance.
• Adhere to BSA/AML policies and procedures.
