Job summary

North American Savings Bank (NASB) seeks an enthusiastic Universal Banker for its Independence branch. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, open and manage accounts, and promote NASB products. Referrals to mortgage sales are encouraged to support customers’ dreams.

You will resolve issues, balance daily operations, and ensure compliance with BSA/AML and CIP requirements. A strong customer-service mindset plus cash handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• One year of retail or sales experience with customer interactions.
• Credit and background checks will be required.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with some Saturday mornings.
• Ability to learn NASB products quickly and accurately.
• Strong math, cash handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
• Promote NASB products and make referrals to mortgage sales.
• Assist customers with accounts and service needs.
• Resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support branch marketing activities and promotions.
• Handle daily operations: opening accounts, cash controls, balancing, CIP compliance.
• Adhere to BSA/AML policies and procedures.
