Job summary

Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I to drive new customer growth and deepen relationships at the branch level, embodying our community-focused culture. You will provide teller services, deliver excellent customer service across in-person, phone, and digital channels, and educate customers on digital tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of cashhandling and customer service experience required.
• Prior banking or retail financial services experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong cashhandling discipline.
• Ability to identify customer needs and confidently make referrals.
• Working knowledge of deposit products, digital tools, and basic banking services.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency with banking systems, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services with efficiency and accuracy across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Deliver strong customer service and educate customers on digital tools.
• Refer needs to Personal Bankers and lending specialists for deposits, loans, and cards.
• Support branch performance through relationship building and compliant operations.
• Identify customer needs and conduct needs-based conversations.
• Escalate complex servicing matters to appropriate team members.
