Job summary

C&F Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I to acquire, manage, and retain customer relationships in our retail space. You will respond to expressed needs, handle branch transactions, and guide visits toward relationship growth, with ongoing training opportunities to advance your career.

You will proactively contact customers for relationship reviews, grow earning assets, and participate in networking events to bring in new business, while collaborating with internal partners to deliver the C&F

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with customers and prospects.
• Ability to deepen and enhance customer relationships.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to other branches to accommodate temporary staffing needs and training.

Responsibilities

• Grow branch revenue through small business development and new customer acquisition.
• Acquire new consumer relationships by referrals, prospecting, and lead sources.
• Balance drawer and ensure compliance with BSA/CIP and related procedures.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver the C&F Customer Experience and cross-sell solutions.
