Job summary

C&F Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I to acquire, manage, and retain customer relationships in the Virginia retail space. You will respond to needs, conduct branch transactions, and lead relationship reviews to deepen client engagement.

The role includes outreach, networking, and occasional business development activities, with opportunities for training and career growth. The position emphasizes relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering the C&F Customer

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with customers and prospects.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Ability to travel to other branches within a geographic region to accommodate temporary staffing needs as well as to fulfill training requirements.

Responsibilities

Grow and develop branch relationships through in-person and outbound activities.
Drive branch revenue through small business development and new customer acquisition strategies.
Provide team support and participate in daily huddles and staff meetings.
