Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I for Woodbury and Brookfield branches in Connecticut. The role involves delivering prompt service, driving deposits and loan referrals, and opening consumer accounts while supporting branch operations.

The Universal Banker I will work with Branch Management to implement policy, cover multiple locations as needed, and maintain compliance with CIP/BSA/AML/OFAC requirements. Weekend work may be required. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and resolve issues or refer to management as needed.
• Promote deposit products and related services to reach defined goals and generate leads.
• Develop new account relationships and open consumer accounts.
• Process teller transactions within authority limits and handle wire requests as required.
• Assist with branch operations, administrative tasks, and weekly staff meetings.
• Adhere to CIP, BSA, AML and OFAC requirements and meet deadlines.
