Job summary

BayCoast Bank – Somerset Branch seeks a Universal Banker in Somerset, MA to blend customer service with transactional banking. You will assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account openings while delivering tailored financial solutions.

Under the Branch Manager, you’ll educate customers on banking products, build lasting relationships, and help achieve branch goals. Strong communication, cash handling, and weekend/evening flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 months of customer service experience.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration.
• Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and promote banking products and services.
• Open accounts, process transactions, and balance cash accurately.
