Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Unitizer Operator to manage setup, operation, and cleanup of the unitizer and related equipment. You will ensure correct banding, tagging, and stacking while meeting production schedules and safety standards.

Responsibilities include barcode scanning, maintaining reports, and proactive equipment maintenance. Candidates with forklift experience and high school diploma are preferred, with benefits starting after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Six months experience in the Press or Finishing Department preferred.
• Prior forklift operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the unitizer and related equipment per setup techniques.
• Ensure correct banding, wrapping, and unit tagging.
• Scan barcodes on units processed by the unitizer.
• Maintain proper unit stacking patterns and production data records.
• Operate forklift safely when needed and assist with maintenance orders.
• Adhere to production schedule and safety procedures.
