Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a patient care support professional to provide clerical and basic patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations. The role operates under supervision of licensed nursing staff and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure efficient unit operations.

Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, assisting with ADLs, monitoring intake/output, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; in-house training may be provided for CNA students.
• CNA certification and/or Foundations of Nursing course completion may lead to NGHS in-house PCT Academy enrollment.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and report basic patient data (vital signs, weight, etc.).
• Assist with patient positioning, mobility, hygiene, and comfort per procedures.
• Monitor intake and output and document in EMR.
• Identify and report changes in patient status to licensed staff.
• Organize patient care and execute physician/nurse orders within timeframes.
• Perform basic procedures as directed and document patient responses.
