Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure units are well supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, maintain documents, and operate automated systems.

You will gain hands-on training, including Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, with opportunities to learn warehouse management, record-keeping, and weapons security in a military environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Army National Guard enlistment.
• Must be in high school junior year or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit-level computers.
