Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, maintain automated systems, and schedule maintenance for weapons.

Your role includes handling documents, securing weapons, and supporting warehouse operations while developing transferable skills for civilian careers in stock control and storekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard is required.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
