Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit is well supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing and delivering supplies.

You will maintain documents, operate unit-level computers, secure weapons and ammunition, and schedule maintenance. This role offers paid training, a drill weekend paycheck, and a path to civilian careers in stock control and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records and maintain documentation.
• Interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Willing to train and learn Federal service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
