Job summary

The Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure soldiers are supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, manage documents, and secure weapons. Training includes both classroom and field work.

You will participate in Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), gaining skills in inventory, maintenance, and warehouse operations with civilian career prospects in stock control or logistics.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
