The Subacute at Autumn Lake Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Unit Secretary to support nursing staff and ensure smooth operations in a busy care environment. You will answer phones, relay messages, maintain records, and assist with scheduling and data entry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• 1-3 months customer service experience.
• Legible penmanship.
• Knowledge of medical symbols, abbreviations, and terminology.
• Multi-line telephone operation.
• PCC Point Click Care experience.
• Fax, email capabilities.
• Answering phones, transfer calls, relay messages.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling, filing, and data entry tasks as assigned by nursing staff.

• Perform various clinical and non-clinical tasks as assigned by the nursing staff, including scheduling, filing, and data entry
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards and policies
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and respectful manner

Requirements
