Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc is seeking a Unit Field Trainer to lead the training and development of a downline of sales agents, ensuring they meet performance standards and stay compliant with policies. The role includes onboarding new agents, providing coaching, and supporting branch sales objectives.

The position requires deep knowledge of the sales process, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor agents toward achieving production targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Life & Health license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable with relevant production metrics.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor agents; manage a downline and ensure performance and policy compliance.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching for development strategies focused on production.
• Maintain personal production to meet goals and objectives.
• Assist with recruiting activities and onboarding/licensing training for agents.
• Lead joint field work for on-the-job training, including appointment sharing and commission splits.
• Develop additional Unit Field Trainers within branch or satellite branches.
• Participate in management meetings and support branch sales goals.
