Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc is seeking a Unit Field Trainer in Chattanooga, TN to lead the training and development of sales agents. This role recruits, onboarding, and mentors agents while maintaining personal production standards and supporting branch targets.

The candidate should have a Life & Health license, a High School diploma or GED at minimum, and prior field training or sales development experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Life & Health license required/relevant.
• Experience in field training or sales development is essential.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop agents.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor agents, overseeing a downline and ensuring performance and compliance.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and development strategies for agents focused on production.
• Maintain personal production to meet goals and support branch targets.
• Assist in onboarding and licensing training for new agents; support recruitment activities as needed.
• Conduct on-the-job training through joint field work with new agents, including appointment sharing and commission splits.
• Develop additional Unit Field Trainers within the branch or satellite branches.
• Participate in branch management meetings and help the Branch Sales Office meet stated goals.
