Job summary

Open Management in San Angelo, Texas, is seeking a full-time Rehab Specialist to rehab units and keep homes ready for occupancy. You will perform flooring, drywall, cabinetry, and fixture work, and handle maintenance tasks to maintain quality and timelines.

We value safety, clear directions, and teamwork. A high school diploma or GED is required; rehab experience and basic maintenance skills are preferred. PTO, holidays, insurance, and a 401(k) match are offered as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Rehab experience.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance.
• Construction experience desired.
• Ability to follow instructions and directions, including following safety protocol.
• Understand, read, write and speak English to follow basic instructions and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform full rehab projects including flooring, drywall, cabinetry, and fixtures.
• Complete maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, interior/exterior upkeep, electrical and plumbing as needed.
• Complete unit turns including cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.
• May include transporting, installing and connecting appliances; moving materials; site cleanup.
