Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge, TX is hiring a full-time Unit Nurse Assistant (UNA) to support nursing operations and patient care under supervision. The UNA helps organize the nursing station, manages admissions, and assists with clinical tasks to ensure quality care for our community.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with at least 6 months in a hospital or clinic setting, proficiency in MS Office, and EMR experience; BLS certification within 1 year is

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months hospital or clinic setting experience preferred.
• Computer skills required including MS Office.
• Electronic Medical Record experience a plus!
• Certification in BLS within 1 year of hire is required.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with organizing the nursing station and keeping the unit productive.
• Perform admissions and other administrative duties under the direct supervision of the RN.
• Provide patient care as required under supervision.

Stephens Memorial Hospital has an opening for a full-time Unit Nurse Assistant (UNA).

Summary

The UNA assists the nurses with organizing the nursing station, keeping the unit running productively, and driving quality care up. This position performs administrative duties to include admissions. The UNA will also provide patient care as required under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
