Select Specialty Hospital - Johnstown is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will perform direct patient care tasks, support mobility and daily living activities, and participate in hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as NA/CNA or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and comfort.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked with supplies.

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA)

Location:Select Specialty Hospital - Johnstown

Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift, 7-7Compensation:$16.50 - $22.21 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekends

Sign-On Bonus:$3,000

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
