Job summary

Brentwood Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Yarmouth, ME, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing unit. You will oversee nursing staff, develop care plans, and ensure quality care for residents.

We offer a $4,000 sign-on bonus, strong shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and 32+ hours weekly. Must hold a valid RN license and provide compassionate, decisive leadership in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Valid state RN nursing license.
  • Experience in supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care; aged and chronically ill needs.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nursing staff within the unit.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Unit Manager covers two units, Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing unit

$4K sign on bonus

As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well‑being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care
  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation

Rate of Pay

USD $40.00 - USD $46.00 /Hr.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care; interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
